Once forms exist, you manage them from the Forms list and distribute them — including through the SwiftFox email builder.
Managing forms from the list
On the Forms list, click the three-dot menu on any form row for these actions:
- Edit — open the form in the builder.
- Rename — change the form's name.
- Clone — duplicate the form (useful for reusing a layout as a starting point).
- Set as template — save the form as a reusable template that can be selected when creating new forms. This creates a new form and leaves the original untouched — see Forms — Form templates.
- Delete — delete the form.
To export a form's responses, use the download icon on the form's row (or the Export responses button in Step 2 – Preview & Publish) — see below. Use Search, Filter and Sort on the list to find forms quickly when you have many.
Saving and exiting
In the builder, click Save and close to save your work and return to the Forms list.
Exporting responses to CSV
To export all historical responses for a form:
- On the Forms list, click the download icon on the form's row (or open the form and use Export responses at the top of Step 2 – Preview & Publish).
- The export downloads with one row per submission and one column per question.
Use the CSV for historical analysis outside SwiftFox.
Viewing responses elsewhere
Individual responses can also be viewed via Person Profile → Posts → Full details, and form-wide via the Report and Feed tabs (see Responses, reporting & activity).
Sending a form via SwiftFox email
You can distribute a form through the SwiftFox email builder:
- In the email builder, insert a Form block.
- Select your existing form to link it.
Because emails are tracked, when a respondent opens the form via the tracked email link, SwiftFox identifies the recipient automatically through the unique link. In this case you do not need an Add/Update Contact block — you can build the form with only Question blocks and the submission is still attributed to the right contact.
