SwiftFox Events is the single place to create, publish, sell, invite, and track events. It brings together Forms, Email, Text messages, Finance, Tasks, Contacts, and Lists into one workflow so you can run an event end to end without leaving the platform. Open it from the Events tab in the left-hand menu.
The Events landing page
The Events landing page shows a table of all historical and upcoming events. Each row represents one event, and the default columns are:
- Event Name — the event name.
- Event Start — when the event begins.
- Event End — when the event finishes.
- Created — when the event was created in SwiftFox.
- Description — the event description (also used on the portal/website).
- Location — the venue or online location.
- Tags — any event tags applied to the event.
Searching and filtering
Use the controls above the table to find events quickly. Export sits alongside them — see below.
- Search bar — search by event name.
- Filters — narrow the list by custom fields, authors, created date, start date, end date, and name.
- Circle selector — if your account uses Circles, scope the list to a specific circle using the selector at the top right.
Export writes the table to a CSV file. It contains the columns currently shown, in the order you have arranged them, for the rows your search, filters and circle selection have narrowed to, in the sort order applied — so the file matches what you are looking at. Hidden columns are left out, and any event custom fields or RSVP options you have added as columns come through under their own names. See Saved views on the Emails, Forms and Events tables for the detail.
Calendar view
A Table / Calendar toggle at the top right of the screen switches your events into a calendar layout instead of a table. Use it to see how events fall across days, weeks, and months at a glance.
Working with an event
- Click Create event to start the multi-step event builder.
- Click into any existing event row to open it and manage its full lifecycle — Details, Tickets, Sessions, Invite List, RSVP Page, Email/SMS, and Overview.
- Use the ⋯ (more actions) menu on an event row to clone an event (see Publishing to website/portal & cloning events).
What connects to Events
Because Events sits across the whole platform, actions you take here surface in other modules:
- RSVP pages are built and stored as Forms (marked with a party icon on the Forms page).
- Event emails appear on the Emails page (also marked with a party icon).
- Ticket purchases create Receipts on the contact's Finance tab.
- Event-linked Tasks appear both in the event and in global Tasks.
- Attendance and RSVP history appear on Contact and Organisation Insights.
Saved views on the Events table
Above the Events table is a row of view tabs. Each is a saved view that remembers its own filters, sort order and hidden columns — for example Events this month and Upcoming events alongside the Default view. Switching tabs switches what the table shows.
Saved views are shared across your organisation — everyone sees them, and anyone with the Manage Saved Views permission can change them.
For the full detail — creating a view, saving changes, renaming, duplicating and deleting, and the permission that controls it — see Saved views on the Emails, Forms and Events tables.
