SwiftFox Activity Feed widget (view types & post filters)

The Swiftfox Activity Feed widget puts the Activity Feed on a Home page: a post composer at the top, and beneath it the stream of user posts and system posts from across your account.

The posts themselves are documented with the Posts feature — writing a post, tagging contacts with @, attaching files, setting who can see it, and reacting, commenting or creating a task from a post are all covered there, starting with Posts — Overview (Activity Feed). This guide covers the widget: adding it to a Home page, and the view and filter controls in its own Settings panel, which appear nowhere else.

Adding the widget

1. Open the Home page tab you want it on — My homepage or a shared page.
2. Click Add widget in the bottom-right and choose Swiftfox Activity Feed.
3. Position and size the tile, then save the layout from the tab bar's 3-dot menu (Edit current page → Save). See Widgets: adding, arranging, resizing and saving layout.

The feed scrolls inside the tile, so how tall you make the widget decides how much of the stream you see without scrolling.

Choosing which posts appear

The widget can be narrowed so the feed shows the activity you care about rather than everything happening in the account.

1. Click the 3-dot menu in the widget's top-right to open Settings.
2. Under View type, choose one option:
   • All posts — the default view: user posts and system posts together.
   • Hide system posts — leaves the posts people have written, setting aside the entries SwiftFox generates automatically.
   • Hide bulk posts — hides posts generated by a bulk action, for example an email blast. Useful when a single send would otherwise fill the feed.
   • Hide all other posts.

Filtering the feed by tag

The same Settings panel has a Filter posts section for searching the feed by tag.

1. Under Filter type, choose Hashtags or Post tags.
2. Use the search field below it to find and select the tag you want the feed narrowed to.

Hashtags are typed into the body of a post; post tags are the account-configured labels chosen in the composer. Both are covered in Post tags and hashtags.

Removing the widget

Open the widget's Settings and click Remove widget at the foot of the panel. On a shared page this removes the widget for everyone who can see that page once the layout is saved.
