The Home page is your configurable "home base" in SwiftFox. It is built from widgets — modular tiles such as the Swiftfox Campaign Calendar, Swiftfox Activity Feed, My Tasks, Search Analytics and Dashboard widgets — that you arrange to suit how you work.
What it is
The Home page is the first screen you see when you log in to SwiftFox. Rather than a fixed dashboard, it is a flexible canvas you assemble yourself by adding, moving and resizing widgets. You can create more than one Home page and switch between them using the tabs along the bottom of the page.
At the top of the Home page you will also see a "Welcome back, [your name]" banner and an Ask SwiftFox prompt bar, which opens the SwiftFox AI tab so you can ask SwiftFox AI a question straight from the Home page. See SwiftFox AI on the Home page.
Where it lives
The Home page opens from Home at the top of the left-hand navigation bar, and it loads automatically on login. Along the bottom of the Home page are tabs:
- SwiftFox AI — a built-in tab, always first in the bar, holding the SwiftFox AI assistant rather than widgets. See SwiftFox AI on the Home page.
- My homepage — your own private page.
- Any additional pages you or your colleagues have created (these are shared) — for example tabs such as Communication, Membership or Events.
- A 3-dot menu at the end of the tab bar, used to Edit current page or Create new page.
Who sees what
Visibility depends on the type of page:
- My homepage is private to you. Only you can view it and only you can change it.
- Created pages (added with Create new page) are shared. Their visibility is governed by each page's permissions, and edits you make update for everyone who can see them.
The widgets available
When you click Add widget (bottom-right) you can choose from:
- Swiftfox Campaign Calendar — scheduled Events and Emails you have access to.
- Data Widget — a Dashboard widget added to your Home page. See Data Widget (showing a Dashboard widget on your Home page).
- Swiftfox Activity Feed — a feed of posts and account activity (mentions, RSVPs, calls, imports and more). See Swiftfox Activity Feed widget (view types & post filters).
- My Tasks — a summary of tasks assigned to you.
- Search Analytics — mini dashboards built from List Builder criteria over People or Organisations.
Retired widgets: The Weather and Notifications widgets have been retired and are no longer available to add. Accounts that already had them may still see them (they are grandfathered), but they are no longer supported.
Key relationships
- The Swiftfox Campaign Calendar pulls in scheduled Events and Emails that you have permission to see.
- Search Analytics builds mini dashboards from List Builder criteria over People or Organisations.
- Calendar items respect permissions, so each user sees only the items they have access to.
