The My account area in Settings holds your personal security options: your password and two-factor authentication for your SwiftFox login. These settings apply only to your own account.

Reset your password

  1. Go to Settings → My account → Password.
  2. Follow the on-screen steps to set and confirm your new password.
  3. Save to apply the change.

Use a strong, unique password that you do not reuse on other systems.

If your organisation signs you in through its own identity provider (single sign-on), the Password page will tell you that you are signed in using authentication provided by your organisation and do not need a password. In that case, manage your password with your organisation's identity provider rather than here.

Set up two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication adds a second check at login on top of your password, so that a stolen password alone is not enough to access your account.

  1. Go to Settings → My account → Two-factor authentication.
  2. Follow the on-screen steps to complete setup (typically scanning a code with an authenticator app and confirming the generated one-time code).
  3. Save to enable two-factor authentication on your login.

Once enabled, you will be prompted for the additional code each time you sign in.

Notes

  • These options control only your own login. To manage other people's access, use Users and User groups (under Users & access).
  • Keep a record of your authenticator setup so you can still sign in if you change devices. If you are locked out, contact your system administrator or SwiftFox Support.
