Each contact — and each organisation — has a dedicated Accreditation tab on their profile. The tab label is configurable per account (Accreditation, Goals or CPD), so it may differ in your account. The tab is where you manage a record's accreditations and activities and see progress at a glance.
The progress snapshot
At the top of the tab, a Snapshot summarises standing against the record's accreditations with four figures:
- Hours YTD — hours earned in the current year to date.
- Hours Total — total hours required (or accrued) for the accreditation.
- Points YTD — points earned in the current year to date.
- Points Total — total points required (or accrued) for the accreditation.
The snapshot reads directly from the configured framework, so the totals and caps reflect your hour and point rules. An accreditation may be measured in hours, points, or both, depending on its categories.
The Accreditations table
The Accreditations table lists every accreditation added to the record. Use Add Accreditation (top-left of the table) to attach a new one (see Activities, hours & points capture and the Workflows page). Its columns are:
- Created On — when the accreditation was added.
- Accreditation — the framework it is based on.
- Status — its current status.
- Hours — hours accrued vs required (for example 0/10 hrs).
- Points — points accrued vs required (for example 0/100 pts).
- Achieved — whether the requirements have been met.
- Start Date — when the accreditation period begins.
- End Date — when the accreditation period ends.
- Notes — free-text notes.
The table has Filter and Sort controls.
The Activities table
Below it, the Activities table lists every activity that contributes hours or points. Use Add Activity to record one manually (see Activities, hours & points capture). Its columns are:
- Date Recorded — when the activity was entered.
- Source — where the activity came from (a configured source, or Event for auto-awarded activity).
- Status — the activity's status (for example Approved).
- Hours Total — hours the activity contributes.
- Points Total — points the activity contributes.
- Category — the hour/point category the activity is allocated to.
- Date Occurred — when the activity actually took place.
- Date Confirmed — when the activity was confirmed.
- Notes — free-text notes (for Event-awarded activities this carries the Event name).
- Documents — any supporting files attached to the activity.
The table has Filter, Sort and Export controls.
Exporting from the tab
- From the Activities table you can Export the record's full activity history.
- Whole-of-account exports are available from the Accreditation Action Centre (see The Accreditation Action Centre).
Reading progress correctly
- Check both the Hours and Points columns — an accreditation can be short on one even if the other looks complete.
- An accreditation can show hours or points but still read Achieved? = No if a category minimum has not been met or the overarching total is short.
