Once a project exists you can rename it, archive it, set its sharing permissions, duplicate it, turn it into a reusable template, or delete it. These actions are reached from the three-dots menu (⋯) on the folder or project table. The menu lists Rename, Archive, Sharing permissions, Clone (with data), Clone (without data), Save as template and Delete.

Open the management menu

  1. In the left pane, hover over the project (or folder) you want to manage.
  2. Click the three dots (⋯).
  3. Choose the action you need from the list below.

Rename

  • Click Rename.
  • Enter the new project name and save. The new name appears immediately in the left pane and at the top of the table.

Archive

  • Click Archive to hide the project from the main list without deleting it.
  • Archived folders and projects are hidden by default. To see them again, tick the Show archived checkbox at the bottom of the Projects area.
  • You can restore an archived item from the same menu once Show archived is ticked.

Sharing permissions

  • Click Sharing permissions to control who can see and change the project. See Sharing permissions across folder, table, column and row.

Clone (with data)

  • Click Clone (with data) to duplicate the project's structure and all of its rows.
  • Use this when you want an exact working copy of an existing table, including the records already in it.

Clone (without data)

  • Click Clone (without data) to duplicate the project's structure and column types only, with no rows.
  • Use this when you want the same table layout for a new set of records.

Save as template

  • Click Save as template to store the column setup and column types as a reusable project template.
  • The template then appears as an option when you create a new project (see Folders and projects), so future projects can start from the same setup.

Delete

  • Click Delete to remove the project permanently.
  • Deletion removes the table and its rows, so archive instead if you only need to hide a project temporarily.

Clone vs. template — which to use

  • Clone (with data) copies everything, including every row.
  • Clone (without data) copies the structure and column types only.
  • Save as template stores the setup so it can be reused on brand-new projects from the Add New Project screen.
