While you're on a call, the left pane of the console gives you instant context about the person you're speaking to, and the action toolbar lets you act on what you learn — all without leaving the call.
Left pane — context tabs
The left pane shows the current Contact across six tabs, each pulling live information:
- Profile — the Contact's basic details, so you can confirm who you're talking to.
- Shared Number — every other Contact that shares this phone number. This is useful for households, couples or shared business lines, where one number reaches multiple people.
- Posts — the Contact's Post history, so you can see previous interactions and notes before you speak.
- Tasks — current and recent Tasks linked to the Contact, so you know what's outstanding.
- Calls history — every prior call logged with this Contact, so you have the full calling context.
- Events — a table of the Contact's Event invites, their status and attendance history. From here you can add the Contact to an Event using the Add to event button, straight from the call — including choosing sessions (see below).
Adding a Contact to an Event mid-call
If the conversation turns to an upcoming Event:
- Open the Events tab in the left pane.
- Review the Contact's existing invites and their status. The table has Event Name, Status and Event Date columns, plus Filter, Sort and Export.
- Click Add to event. (There is also an Add to event button on the action toolbar.)
- Use Search events or pick from the list. Events the Contact is already on show their current RSVP status as a badge.
- Selecting an event opens a panel showing the event's name, location and date/time, with:
- a dropdown to set the Contact's RSVP status (e.g. No RSVP, Attending); and
- if the event has Sessions enabled, a Sessions checklist listing each session with its date and time. Tick every session the Contact says they'll attend — it is multi-select, so you can record several in one pass. Clear all resets the selection.
Use the back arrow at the top of the panel to return to the event list.
Action toolbar — productivity actions
The toolbar above the panes lets you act during the call:
- Create task — opens the Task dialog defaulted to the current Contact, so you can log a follow-up action in a couple of clicks.
- Add to event — add the current Contact to an Event.
- Call list — open the full queue to see everyone still to be called.
- My activity — review your own calling activity.
- Remaining (dropdown) — focus on a sub-queue: Voicemail, Call backs, No answer or Remaining.
Putting it together
A typical flow uses both areas: check Profile and Posts to prepare, talk to the Contact while completing the Survey, glance at Calls history or Shared Number for context, then Create task or add them to an Event based on what they tell you.
