These settings define your organisation's identity and how your finance documents look. Company details supply the name, address and branding that appear on invoices and receipts; Invoice settings control the document title and footer layout of those documents.

Company details

Company details hold your organisation's core information, which populates invoices, receipts and similar output automatically.

  1. Go to Settings → Organisation → Company details.
  2. Use the pencil to edit, then enter or update: - Name - Address - Email - Mobile and Landline - Website - ABN - Company display photo (use Upload new image)
  3. Save your changes.

These values flow onto invoices and receipts automatically, so keep them current. The page also holds a Security Settings section for account-level security options.

Invoice settings

Invoice settings let you control how your business is identified on invoices and set default preferences. They are at Settings → Finance & usage → Invoice settings and are organised into four tabs: Document identity, Delivery options, Footer design and Defaults.

The Document identity tab (Registered for Tax, Document title and Include primary organisation name on invoices) and the Footer design footer builder are documented in full in Email invoice settings, footer builder & early generation (Document ID: 369) — see that guide for the steps. The same guide covers the Delivery options tab.

Financial settings

Financial settings set your currency, tax label and financial summary options, and control automatic subscription rollover.

  1. Go to Settings → Finance & usage → Financial settings.
  2. Set the Currency and the Tax label used on your finance documents.
  3. Under Financial summary, set the Reporting year and the Date to use — these drive the financial-year breakdown shown on a contact's Financial tab.
  4. Under Financial rollover, use Automatically roll over eligible subscriptions to turn the recurring subscription rollover on or off.

About Automatically roll over eligible subscriptions. This setting enables the recurring subscription rollover job, which processes each eligible subscription when its period falls due. It is not limited to the end of the financial year — subscriptions roll over on their own schedule. (This setting was previously labelled in a way that implied end-of-financial-year processing; the wording was corrected to match what it actually does.)

Notes

  • Because Company details feed finance documents, updating your logo or ABN here updates future invoices and receipts.
  • For the broader finance configuration (payments, subscriptions, receipts and accounting), see the Finance guides.
