This page explains how to check your available balance, see what each action costs, and understand inclusions.

Viewing your balance

The Available Balance card at the top of the Wallet settings shows the funds currently available to spend.

If your balance is zero and you have no credit limit configured, campaigns that require funds will be blocked from sending. See Credit limits & send behaviour for exactly what is and isn't blocked.

Viewing usage and rates

Rates are the per-unit cost for each channel. To see how much each action costs:

  1. On the Wallet settings, locate the Fee summary card, which shows the per-unit cost for each channel.
  2. Click View usage & rates to open the drawer with full detail.
  3. Review the per-unit cost for each channel — Emails, Text messages and Calls (VoIP).
  4. To see inclusions for a channel, click that channel's row in the drawer.
  5. Click outside the drawer (or the close icon) to return.

Rates are configurable per account — your rates may differ from any defaults shown in training material or screenshots.

Understanding inclusions

Inclusions are amounts included in your plan before usage is charged to your wallet. For example, your account might receive a set number of free emails per month before per-email charges begin.

  • If a channel has inclusions, the drawer shows how many units are included.
  • Once inclusions are used, further usage is charged at the listed rate.
  • Text messages typically have no inclusions — every message sent is charged at the per-unit rate.

In production, inclusion amounts are typically in the thousands or tens of thousands (for example, 10,000 or 100,000 emails). Small demo values shown in training videos are for illustration only.

How charges are drawn

Usage is charged against your wallet at the configured rate once any inclusions are exhausted. Funds are only drawn when a send is actually executed — not when a campaign is queued or scheduled. See Transactions & reporting to review individual usage events.
