Every conversation you have with SwiftFox AI is saved, wherever you started it — in the panel, on the Home page, or on the SwiftFox AI page. This guide covers finding an earlier conversation, starting a new one, and how conversations are named.
Your chat history is your own. Other people in your organisation do not see your conversations.
The SwiftFox AI page
Select SwiftFox AI in the left-hand menu. Your conversations are listed down the left, most recent first, above and below:
- New chat — starts a fresh conversation.
- Search chats — filters the list.
Select any conversation to reopen it and carry on. A chevron at the top of the sidebar collapses it, giving the conversation the full width of the page.
Recent Chats in the drawer
You do not have to leave what you are doing to pick up an earlier conversation. Select Recent Chats at the top of the SwiftFox AI drawer for your five most recent conversations, plus See all chats for the full list on the SwiftFox AI page.
Selecting one loads it into the drawer, on whatever page you happen to be on.
How conversations are named
SwiftFox AI names each conversation for you from what it is about — ask about an event called Members Charity Night and the conversation is saved as Members Charity Night Overview. Names are not editable.
Searching your chats
The Search chats field matches conversation titles, not the messages inside them. Searching for a word that was only ever typed inside a conversation will not find it; search for the subject you were discussing, which is what the title is drawn from.
Starting a new conversation
Start a new one whenever you move to something unrelated:
- In the drawer, select New Chat.
- On the SwiftFox AI page, select New chat.
The conversation you were having is saved, not discarded. Starting a new chat also clears any records attached to the old one, which is usually what you want when the subject changes.
A new conversation opens with three starting points — Create an event, Build a list and Draft a campaign — each of which begins a request for you.
Moving a conversation to the full page
A conversation started in the drawer can be moved to the SwiftFox AI page without losing anything: select View Mode at the top of the drawer, then Full screen. The conversation opens on the page exactly as it was.
From a conversation started on the Home page, the icon at the top-left of the conversation does the same thing.
Good to know
- Reloading your browser closes the drawer and starts a new conversation. The one you were having is safe in your history.
- Conversations cannot be renamed or deleted from the chat list.
