Visits lets you build in-person visiting runs from your CRM. Using the addresses saved against your Contacts, you create an ordered list of doors to visit, walk the run in an efficient route, record each interaction, and complete a form (a survey-style Form) for — or on behalf of — the contact while you are there.

Visits lives under the Visits menu in the left-hand navigation, and it ties together several other parts of SwiftFox:

  • Contacts — the people and the addresses you are visiting, and where outcomes post back to.
  • List / List Builder — used to bulk-seed the audience for a visit.
  • Forms — the survey-style Form you complete at each door.
  • Posts — the activity feed; a completed visit creates a Post on the contact.
  • Tasks — viewable from the contact while you work a visit.
  • Address Types and Address Tags — used to filter which addresses are included and to capture on-the-ground context.

What you can do with Visits

  • Create a visit list using a guided four-step builder: Survey → Address Types → Audience → Review.
  • Walk an efficient route — addresses are grouped by Street or Suburb (your choice in the builder), with odds/evens ordering applied automatically within each group.
  • Record who you spoke to — choose a contact listed at the address, or record Someone Else if the person is not in your database.
  • Complete a survey at the door and capture who visited and the visit time.
  • Track outcomes — record Contact made, Nobody available, or Skipped at each address, and see the breakdown on the Visits landing page (Successful / Unsuccessful / Unattempted / Not Yet Visited).

Where to find it

Open Visits from the left-hand menu to reach the Visits landing page (titled Visits, subtitle Plan and manage visit lists). If you cannot see Visits, it has not been enabled for your account or your user does not have permission — ask your system administrator to enable it and grant you access.

Key terms

  • Visit list — a named run that combines a chosen survey (Form) with a set of addresses to work through.
  • Outcome — the in-field action recorded against each address: Contact made, Nobody available, or Skipped (which roll up to Successful / Unsuccessful / Unattempted on the landing page).
  • Visited by — the team member who worked the address, captured for reporting.
  • Someone Else — the option used when the person you spoke to is not an existing contact in your database.
