Where do I find Visits?
In the Visits menu on the left-hand side. If you do not see it, ask your administrator to enable it and make sure your user permissions are set.
How do I start a new visit?
On the Visits landing page, click Create visit list (top-right), then complete the four steps of the Visit List Wizard — Survey, Address Types, Audience, Review — and click Finalise list.
Can I limit visits to certain addresses?
Yes. Choose Address Types during setup (or leave it blank for no restriction). You can also tick Primary address only to use each contact's primary address.
How do I add people to a visit?
In the Audience step, use the single combined search Search for lists or people to add to find a saved list or an individual, then click Add. (Lists over 5,000 records cannot be selected.)
What happens when I record Contact made at the door?
When you record Contact made, choose who you met, and submit the survey, the address status updates, a Post is created in the activity feed, and the entry appears on the contact's profile. Contact made rolls up to the Successful column on the Visits landing page.
What if nobody answers?
Choose Nobody available — this means you attempted the address but no one was available (it rolls up to Unsuccessful). If you did not attempt the address at all, choose Skipped (it rolls up to Unattempted).
Can I record who visited and when?
Yes. Set Visited by me and the Visit time date in the top bar of the Visit Entry screen while completing the survey. These are used for reporting.
How are addresses ordered for walking?
You choose Group addresses by: Street or Suburb in the builder (Step 2). Within each group, addresses are split by odd / even house numbers automatically to make on-foot routes efficient — this ordering is built in, not a setting.
Can I tag addresses while out in the field?
Yes. Add address tags from the middle panel while viewing an address, to capture on-the-ground context.
Can I log a conversation with someone not in our database?
Yes. Use Someone Else when selecting who you met at the address.
Can I finish building a visit later?
Yes. Use Save and close in the builder to save your progress, then come back and Finalise list when you are ready to run the visit.
