Search Analytics widget (mini Dashboards from List Builder)

The Search Analytics widget lets you build mini dashboards right on your Home page. Each tile is powered by List Builder criteria over your People or Organisations, so you can surface live counts — members, event attendance, custom-field breakdowns and more — as a chart or a single number.

What it is

Search Analytics turns List Builder queries into small visualisations on your Home page. Each data point is a List Builder query over People or Organisations, and the widget renders the total for each data point in the chart or number format you choose.

Add the widget

1. Click Add widget (bottom-right).
2. Select Search Analytics.
3. Position and resize it as needed.

Name the widget and choose a visualisation

1. Open the widget's 3-dot menu to open its Settings panel.
2. Give the widget a name.
3. Choose a Visualisation type: - Radial - Pie - Bar - Number (a single total / KPI tile)

Add a data point

Each data point is its own List Builder query:

1. Click Add data point to open the mini List Builder.
2. Set a colour for the data point (used in the chart) and give it a name.
3. Choose the Type — People or Organisations.
4. Set your criteria using the Filters (List Builder). A live Result count shows the total as you build.
5. Click Add.

Add more data points

Repeat the Add data point steps to add further queries. The widget renders the total per data point in your chosen chart or number view, so several data points can be compared side by side in a pie, bar or radial chart.

Common use cases

• Member counts — how many contacts are current members.
• Event attendance — counts of attendees for an event or list.
• Custom-field breakdowns — totals split by a custom field value.

How it relates to List Builder

Because every data point is a List Builder query over People or Organisations, anything you can segment in List Builder can become a Search Analytics tile. Build the segment logic in List Builder terms, then let the widget total and visualise it.

Notes

• The four visualisation types are Radial, Pie, Bar and Number.
• Counts reflect the criteria of each data point at the time the widget loads.
• To remove the widget, open its Settings panel and click Remove widget.
