Dashboards give you visual reporting across areas such as engagement, membership, finance, donations and events. Each one is built from configurable widgets — charts, number tiles and tables — and supports parameters and filters, sorting, layout editing, exporting, and putting a widget on your Home screen.
Where dashboards live
Open Dashboards in the left-hand menu. That lands you on Dashboard Centre, the feature's landing screen, which lists the dashboards provisioned for your account in a panel on the left. Where an account has many, they are grouped — for example a Membership group holding several membership dashboards.
Which dashboards you see depends entirely on your account:
- Standard dashboards — built by SwiftFox for general reporting needs rather than for one account, and switched on per account. Engagement, Finance and Events have been cited as examples.
- Account-specific (bespoke) dashboards — custom dashboards built for your account's particular requirements.

What you can do on a dashboard
- Narrow the data with two separate controls at the top-left. Parameters holds the named inputs the dashboard was built to take (for example Date From); Filter opens a Filtering panel where you build your own Where conditions, dashboard-wide or per widget. A dashboard shows only the controls it was built with, so some have both, some one, some neither.
- Sort a table widget by clicking a column heading. Clicking again reverses the order, and the heading's arrow points down (▼) when that column is sorted descending. The sort sticks — it is still applied when you come back to the dashboard.
- See what a widget measures by hovering its top-right and clicking the widget information icon, which shows that widget's description.
- Edit the layout by dragging a widget from the dots at its top-right and resizing it from its bottom-right corner, then using the Save dashboard layout and Reset dashboard layout icon buttons at the top-right. Fullscreen sits beside them.
- Export the whole dashboard with Export dashboard as PDF, or download a single table widget to CSV using the Download icon at that widget's top-right. Only table widgets offer CSV.
- Put a widget on Home using the add to home screen icon on the widget, which asks you to choose a space — the tabs across the top of your Home screen.
A Data last fetched indicator in the toolbar tells you how current the figures are.
Who sets them up
Dashboards are provisioned on the back end by the SwiftFox team — they are not end-user self-service, and there is no create-a-dashboard control in the product. To discuss a new build or a change to an existing dashboard, contact your account manager.
