Event settings set account-wide behaviour for every event in your account: the survey used by default for event call follow-ups, and the RSVP response options available when someone replies to an invitation. You'll find the screen at Settings → Features → Events.
These settings apply across the account. They are separate from the options you choose on an individual event.
Set the default survey for event call follow-ups
- Go to Settings → Features → Events.
- Under Default Survey for Event Call Follow-ups, select the survey you want assigned automatically to every call list created for an event.
- The survey is applied to new event call lists as they are created. You can still change the survey on an individual call list afterwards, so this is a starting point rather than a fixed rule.
Manage RSVP options
RSVP options are the responses available when an invitee's reply is recorded against an event.
- Go to Settings → Features → Events.
- Under Manage RSVP options, review the responses already available.
- Select Add Response Option to create a response beyond the built-in ones, and give it a clear name.
Three responses are built in — Attending, Not attending and Attended — and these can't be renamed or removed. Any option you add yourself can be edited or removed later.
Additional options are useful when your events need more nuanced statuses than the three built-ins; Did not attend or Feedback provided are examples, not options SwiftFox provides.
Permissions
Changing anything on this screen requires the Manage event settings permission.
Notes
- Login Portal event RSVP options (which responses members can use when registering themselves) are configured separately — see the Login portal guides.
