Editing a dashboard layout (rearrange, resize, save, reset)

You can rearrange and resize the widgets on a dashboard to suit how you want to read it, then save that arrangement or reset it back to the default.

The layout controls

• Rearrange a widget — drag it using the dots at the top-right of the widget.
• Resize a widget — drag the handle at the bottom-right corner of the widget.
• Save dashboard layout — an icon button at the top-right of the page, in the group to the right of Export dashboard as PDF; hover it to see the label. Keeps your new arrangement.
• Reset dashboard layout — the icon button beside it, which returns the dashboard to its default configuration.
• Fullscreen — the icon button at the end of that group, which expands the dashboard to fill the window.

Rearrange and resize widgets, then save

1. Open Dashboards in the left-hand menu and choose the dashboard from the list panel in Dashboard Centre.
2. To move a widget, drag it using the dots at the widget's top-right and drop it in the new position.
3. To resize a widget, drag the bottom-right corner of the widget until it is the size you want.
4. Repeat until the layout suits your needs.
5. Click the Save dashboard layout icon (top-right) to keep the new arrangement.

Reset to the default layout

1. Open the dashboard.
2. Click the Reset dashboard layout icon (top-right).
3. The layout returns to its default configuration.

Notes

• Saving a layout preserves your custom arrangement so it persists the next time you open the dashboard.
• Resetting discards your custom arrangement and restores the dashboard's original default layout.
