This page collects the common dashboard tasks as quick, end-to-end procedures. Each one assumes you have opened Dashboards in the left-hand menu and picked your dashboard from the list panel in Dashboard Centre.

A) Set a dashboard's parameters

  1. Click Parameters at the top-left of the dashboard.
  2. Set each value — for example type or pick a date in Date From.
  3. The widgets update as you go. There is nothing to submit; the values in force appear beside the button under Applied parameters:.

Not every dashboard has parameters — the button only appears where the dashboard was built with them.

B) Filter a dashboard

  1. Click Filter at the top-left (it reads 1 Filter, 2 Filters and so on once filters are set).
  2. In the Filtering panel, pick a section: Dashboard-Wide Filters to narrow everything, or a named widget section to narrow just that widget.
  3. Click Add a new filter and complete the Where row — field, then operator, then value.
  4. Click Apply filter. The conditions in force appear beside the button under Applied filters:.

To clear everything, click Clear all, then Apply filter.

C) Sort a table widget

  1. Click a column heading in the table widget.
  2. Click the same heading again to reverse the order. A column sorted descending shows a downward arrow (▼).

The sort persists — it is still applied next time you open the dashboard.

D) Export a dashboard to PDF

  1. Set your parameters and filters and arrange the layout first — the PDF captures the dashboard as it currently appears.
  2. Click Export dashboard as PDF (top-right).
  3. Download the generated PDF.

E) Rearrange / resize widgets and save the layout

  1. Drag a widget using the dots at its top-right to reposition it.
  2. Resize a widget using its bottom-right corner.
  3. Repeat until the layout suits your needs.
  4. Click the Save dashboard layout icon (top-right, to the right of Export dashboard as PDF) to keep the new arrangement.

F) Reset a dashboard to the default layout

  1. Click the Reset dashboard layout icon (top-right).
  2. The layout returns to its default configuration.

G) Download a table widget to CSV

  1. Locate the table widget on your dashboard.
  2. Click the widget's Download icon (top-right of the widget).
  3. Save the resulting CSV file.

Only table widgets offer this — chart and number-tile widgets have no download control.

H) Add a widget to your Home screen

  1. Hover over the widget's top-right to reveal its controls.
  2. Click the add to home screen icon.
  3. The dialog Choose a space to import the widget to opens. Pick the destination from the Space dropdown — these are the tabs across the top of Home, your own being My homepage there and My space here.
  4. Click Add to space. A confirmation reads Widget added to home screen.

Shared spaces are visible to other people in your organisation, so choose deliberately.

I) Check what a widget measures

  1. Hover over the widget's top-right.
  2. Click the widget information icon to see that widget's description.
