Open Lists from the left-hand menu to reach the Lists landing page. This is your home base for finding, opening and managing every list in your account.

The Lists table columns

The table shows your lists with the following columns:

  • List name — the name you gave the list.
  • Total — the number of records currently matching the list.
  • Type — whether the list is Live or Fixed.
  • Created by — the user who created the list.
  • Created on — the date the list was created.
  • Updated by — the user who last updated the list.
  • Updated on — the date the list was last updated.
  • Preparing — shown while a list is still being prepared, for example a large list whose results are still being calculated.

Searching, filtering and arranging

A toolbar above the table gives you several controls:

  • Search — find a specific list by name. Type any part of the list name to filter the table down to matching lists.
  • Filter — narrow the table using filters.
  • Pin — show only your pinned lists.
  • Column visibility (eye) icon — choose which columns appear in the table.
  • All lists / Folders — switch between a flat view of every list and a view grouped into folders.
  • Scope selector — the scope dropdown (for example Global) controls which circle's lists you are viewing.

Creating lists and folders

Click Create list at the top right to start a new list. The dropdown beside it also offers Create folder so you can group related lists.

Pin

Click the Pin icon on a list to push it to the top of the page for quick access. Pinning is the fastest way to keep frequently used lists within reach without searching for them each time.

The three-dot menu

Each list has a three-dot menu with quick actions:

  • View — open the list to review its conditions and results.
  • Clone — create a duplicate of the list, copying its criteria and setup. Use this as a starting point for a similar list rather than rebuilding from scratch.
  • Pin list — pin the list to the top of the page.
  • Move list — move the list into a folder.
  • Convert — turn a live list into a fixed list (a point-in-time snapshot that no longer updates).
  • Set as base list — set a live list as the base (default) list whose criteria are applied to every new list. See Setting a base (default) list.
  • Delete — permanently remove the list.

Tips

  • Use Clone when you need a variation of an existing segment — it preserves all the rules and criteria so you only adjust what is different.
  • Use Convert when you want to lock in the current members of a live list, for example before sending a campaign.
  • Use Move list and Folders to keep related lists organised.
  • Pinned lists stay at the top regardless of how the rest of the table is sorted.
