Once your form is designed, use the Success page and Step 2 – Preview & Publish to control what respondents see after submitting and how the form is distributed.
The Success page
At the bottom of the form is the Successful Submission page, displayed after a respondent clicks Submit.
- Scroll to the Successful Submission page in the builder.
- Add the content you want respondents to see after submitting (a thank-you message, next steps, links).
- To forward respondents elsewhere, add a URL Redirect block here (see Navigation, submission & redirect blocks).
Moving to Preview & Publish
- Click Next (top right) or jump to Step 2 – Preview & Publish.
- The Overview area opens on the Preview & Share tab (alongside the Report and Feed tabs), with the distribution options below. Export responses (top right) downloads the form's responses to CSV, and Back to Design (top left) returns to the builder.
Share Link
The Share Link is a unique public URL for the form. Copy it to distribute the form anywhere — social posts, emails sent outside SwiftFox, or any public channel.
Form Expiry
Use Form Expiry to close the form automatically:
- Set the date/time the form closes.
- Set the custom closed message shown to anyone who opens the form after it has expired.
Add to website (iframe & Form ID)
Expand Add to website to embed the form on a website. This single section contains:
- Width and Height controls.
- The iframe Embed code (with a Copy button). If you see scrollbars, increase the height to remove them.
- A Form ID for website backend field (with a Copy button). For Umbraco sites, use the SwiftFox Form block together with this Form ID for clean embedding that inherits your site's styling, rather than embedding via raw iframe.
Create Form for Individuals (per-individual links)
Use Create Form for Individuals to generate a unique link per contact. When a respondent uses their personal link, their submission is automatically attributed to that person, so no manual matching is needed.
API Details
The API Details section provides a JWT token and Question IDs. Use these to integrate an external form with this SwiftFox form, mapping external fields to the SwiftFox form's questions.
Sharing
The Sharing section controls which other circles can manage this form. Under Current circle, use the Circle dropdown to select the other circles that should be able to manage it. This section only appears if your account uses circles and you're working within one — if you're not in a circle it's hidden, giving you a simpler, cleaner setup.
Advanced Settings
The Advanced Settings section includes a CAPTCHA protection toggle, which adds bot protection to the form. It is on by default.
