Your Home page is organised into tabs that run along the bottom of the screen. Each tab is a separate Home page with its own layout of widgets. Understanding the difference between your private tab and shared tabs is essential before you start editing.
The tab bar
Along the bottom of the Home page you will see:
- My homepage — your own private page.
- One tab for each shared page that has been created in your account (for example Communication, Membership or Events).
- A 3-dot menu at the end of the tabs, which opens Edit current page (rename, set as default, manage permissions, clone, delete and save the active page) and Create new page (add a new shared page).
My homepage (private)
My homepage is your personal Home page:
- It is private to you — no other user can see it.
- Only you can add, move, resize or remove its widgets.
- Changes you make here never affect anyone else.
Use My homepage for the widgets and layout that suit your own daily workflow.
Shared pages (created pages)
Any page created with Create new page is a shared page:
- It is visible to the users allowed by its permissions — by default, everyone in your account.
- Edits to a shared page update for everyone who can see it — if you move, add or remove a widget, those users see that change.
- Access and editing can be controlled through the page's permissions (see Page permissions, default page and cloning).
Shared pages are ideal for team dashboards, such as a calendar everyone watches or a set of Search Analytics tiles the whole team relies on.
Choosing which page loads on login
A shared page can be set as the default page so that users land on it when they log in. This is configured from the 3-dot menu → Edit current page → Set as default, and is covered in Page permissions, default page and cloning.
Switching between tabs
Click any tab name to switch to that Home page. The widget layout, calendar and analytics shown will be those saved for that specific tab.
At a glance
- My homepage — private, only you see and edit it.
- Shared / created pages — visible to the users their permissions allow; edits update for everyone who can see them; access governed by permissions.
