Two account-wide display settings control how the app is laid out for your team: the Feature menu (the order of features in the left-hand menu) and Feature folders (the folder depth limit, which currently applies to Lists). They live on separate screens under Settings → Organisation.
Feature menu
The Feature menu sets the order features appear in the left-hand menu for everyone in the account.
- Go to Settings → Organisation → Feature menu.
- Each feature (Home, SwiftFox AI, Automations, Emails, Tasks, and so on) is listed with a drag handle.
- Drag a feature up or down by its handle to change where it sits in the left-hand menu.
The order you set applies to all users, giving everyone a consistent navigation layout. Managing the Feature menu requires the Manage Sidebar permission.
How the menu behaves on smaller screens
The left-hand menu collapses to icons automatically once the window is narrow enough, which keeps the working area usable when a drawer or panel is open. You do not need to collapse it yourself, and the order you set in the Feature menu is unchanged — only the labels are hidden.
While it is collapsed, hover over the icon rail and the full menu with labels slides open over the page. The page underneath does not move or reflow, so you can find a feature and click straight through without losing your place. Move the pointer away and the menu returns to icons.
Opening the persistent side chat on a smaller screen also forces the menu closed, with the same hover behaviour. The Collapse control at the foot of the menu still lets you collapse or expand it yourself on wider screens.
Feature folders
Feature folders is a tab on the General preferences screen — not part of the Feature menu screen, which is a separate item under Settings → Organisation. As it stands the limit is scoped to Lists: the on-screen text says so, so it does not govern folders in any other feature.
- Go to Settings → Organisation → General preferences.
- Open the Feature folders tab.
- Under the Lists section, set the Folder depth limit — "Set the maximum number of folder levels allowed in Lists." The on-screen guidance is "Recommendation is 3."
A Caution advised note warns that increasing this limit can make lists harder to navigate and maintain, and that deep folder structures often lead to clutter, confusion and duplicated work — so only increase it if you have a clear, deliberate reason.
