Finance powers self-service: contacts can subscribe and update payment details through forms, and view their finances through the member portal.

Form blocks

Subscription block

Add a Subscription block to a form (for example a join or renew form) to let contacts choose and start a subscription. Configure:

  • the allowed plans,
  • the allowed intervals,
  • the allowed options / add-ons,
  • the default status, and
  • the permitted payment methods.

Payment Method block

Add a Payment Method block to collect or update a contact's payment method (for example to capture a new card). Contacts can update their subscriptions and payment methods through forms that include these blocks.

Other finance blocks

The form builder also offers additional finance-related blocks: Account Payment, Transaction and Membership data.

Member portal finance

If the portal is enabled, contacts can access a Financial area to:

  • view their Subscriptions,
  • view their Receipts, and
  • download their Invoices and Receipts.

This lets members self-serve their financial documents and reduces support requests.

Tips

  • Pair a Subscription block with a Payment Method block on join/renew forms so new members can sign up and pay in one flow.
  • Form submissions create or update the contact's finance records, which then appear on the Financial tab and in the Action Centres.
  • Paid event tickets are handled through event setup plus a ticket block in the RSVP form; those payments and receipts flow through Finance as well.
