Here's the challenge a lot of our customers face. Your membership base doesn't all join on the same day. People sign up throughout the year. They upgrade their plan, they move between tiers, they go on hold, they come off hold and keeping billing clean, fair and transparent across all of that has traditionally required a lot of manual work or a lot of compromise.

These latest changes to SwiftFox handle all of that complexity for you automatically. The big change here is how invoicing works in subscriptions. It's been completely revamped. Invoices now generate automatically for every subscription. Clearly outlining exactly what has been paid and what is due. These invoices contain line items with clear descriptions of the billing period. They cover quantities, unit prices, and totals.

When you sign up a new member or customer and add them to a subscription and invoices created automatically. For common period plans, this invoice represents the entire year and will slowly be paid off over time using their fortnightly, monthly and quarterly payments. For anniversary plans, one invoice will be generated for each period, be that weekly, fortnightly, quarterly or anything in between.

In all of these circumstances, you have full control over whether these invoices are emailed out to your members and customers. For those customers with a member portal, you even have the option of showing these invoices there for your customers to see anytime.

This invoice first model offers flexibility and oversight. When a subscription changes, say, and then the upgrades that apply mid-cycle, the system automatically handles the proration for you.
