Hi everyone, and welcome to this SwiftFox Masterclass. Today I'm going to run through the newest additions to SwiftFox AI. There are a few of them, but they all come back to a single change – SwiftFox AI now follows you around the app rather than living on a page of its own.

Until now, there were two ways in you could use the Ask SwiftFox input at the top of your home page, or you could open the dedicated SwiftFox AI page.

Both work perfectly well, but they share the same problem. You have to stop what you're doing in order to go and ask. And once you get there, SwiftFox AI has no idea where you came from. So you end up describing the thing you were already looking at.

In this session, we're going to look at what changes when SwiftFox AI is with you everywhere and know something about what you're doing and how to work with it, so the answers come back faster and more accurate.

You can now open SwiftFox AI from anywhere, using the button in the bottom right corner of the screen. It opens as a side panel next to your work, and the important part is that the chat is persistent. Open it on a list, ask something, then switch to an event. The conversation is still there, exactly where you left it.

You can ask a question about something you're working on, get the answer right there, without going in and out of different windows. Recent chats at the top of the panel puts your earlier conversations at click away, and new chat clears it out when you want to start on something unrelated.

By default, Swift Fox AI opens in the sidebar, which sits alongside your work so you can see both at once. If the screen feels cramped, like when you're working in the email designer, you can switch to floating window, which places the chat over the page instead.

Now let's take a look at SwiftFox AI's improved context management. Previously, you could type the @ symbol followed by a name to tag a person, organisation, or list in your sentence. That still works, but the Add to chat menu now offers a more deliberate way to attach the context it needs.

Rather than mentioning records in your sentence, you can attach them directly to the conversation. The menu gives you several options, including a person, list, email, image, or screen capture. Choose a type. Search your data and select the right item. Anything you add becomes context for SwiftFox AI in the chat.

So why would you want to do that? Say you want to add everyone on your Premium Members list to your upcoming members charity night. To make sure SwiftFox acts on the correct list and event will directly attach them, then simply say add this list to this event and it already has the exact records. It's quicker and more accurate.

Anytime you're a quest depends on a specific record, attach the record. Accuracy is almost always a function of how precisely you've identified what you're talking about.

Some context turns up without you doing anything. When you're on a page that's about a particular record, an event, an email, a person, that record gets attached to the chat automatically and the chip is labeled from page. So you can always tell the difference between something you added on purpose and something SwiftFox added for you.

If it isn't relevant, you can click it away, but there's no harm in leaving it in place. But most of the time when you're asking a question while looking at a record, that record is precisely what you're asking about. And having it attached saves you searching for the thing that's already on your page.

SwiftFox AI can now also see and understand images. The practical version of this is screen capture and it comes into its own when you get stuck. Let's say you're building an email. You get to the schedule step and something is stopping you from sending it. But it is an obvious what, rather than describing the problem open SwiftFox AI, hit screen capture and ask why you can't send. It reads the screenshot, checks the relevant help material, and points to you at the step that needs attention. Perhaps the subject line never got filled in because the text went into the preview text field instead.

That's a meaningful kind of support. You don't need the vocabulary to describe the problem, and you don't have to have a screenshot somewhere and drag it in. You capture and you ask. You can also attach your own images through add image and ask questions about them.

Not all of this update is something you can see. SwiftFox AI is knowledge of the product has improved considerably and it keeps getting better week by week. It's worth revisiting questions you've asked before because the answers have moved on. The same goes for what SwiftFox AI can do, rather than just what it knows.
