Campaigner Website Enablement - Working with content blocks
Things have changed

Now let's talk about the content blocks themselves. These are the building blocks that make up each page. For most of the changes you'll be making, it's usually something straightforward updating a picture, changing a heading, or editing the rich text content on a page. Well, that's all done right here in the grid by clicking into the relevant block and making your changes.
00:00:22:38 - 00:00:42:48
For example, on the about page, if you wanted to update the biography text under my background, you'd simply click into the Rich text blog and start typing. Or if you needed to swap out the profile photo, you'd click into the image block and upload a new one. One thing to be aware of is that most blocks sit inside containers.
00:00:42:48 - 00:01:10:22
Containers wrap around the content, control the width and padding of sections on your page, ensuring that regardless of whether someone is viewing on a mobile phone, a small screen or a large monitor, the content stays well formatted and doesn't stretch too wide. It aligns the way that you want it to. You can see on the electorate page, the Our Community section with the text about the Division of Marrawind alongside the electorate map.

That content sits within a container that keeps it neatly formatted and changes alignment as the screen size reduces. It looks clean and professional across all screen sizes. If you're just updating existing content. So changing tags, swapping an image, adjusting a heading, then that's all you need to know. You simply click into the block, make your changes, and save.
